Brooklyn rapist has women watching their backs
BROOKLYN, NEW YORK (PIX11)- As officers are hoping to track down a man who apparently attacked a couple of women and he’s still on the loose.
Surveillance video captured on April 6th shows the man police are searching for.
He’s described as a Hispanic man, about 5-foot-10 weighing 165 pounds.
Last seen here wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt.
According to police the footage was taken the same day as the man’s second attack on a woman in her late 30’s.
We’re told he approached his 37-year-old victim from behind inside a building.
He pushed the woman to the ground, demanded money and when she told him she didn’t have any we’re told that’s when he raped her.
A month prior to that assault on February 1st, officers say he approached a 39-year-old woman from behind on Woodbine Street, also pushed her to the ground and fondled her.
That victim was able to fight back and get away, but others in the area fear the man could still be lurking around.
Police remind us in both cases, the women were approached from.
