LONG ISLAND (PIX11)- Cops say 43-year-old Susan Becker was behind dozens of drive by BB gun shootings, blasting parked car windows.

The East Northport mom allegedly did the driving, while her 15-year-old daughter, 13-year-old son and another teenage boy did the shooting with the BB gun she bought for them.

Over the past two weeks, Suffolk County police investigated more than 60 such incidents in Hauppauge, Islandia and here in Commack.

Several car windows were left shattered on Gannett Drive.

“There was massive hole right across here.  It was so strange.  The glass is still here, the glass is all over the road we had to sweep it up it’s just a mess,” said one man who had his car window shot at.

John McGuigan, who has three young children, wonders what on earth, was this mother thinking, “The likelihood that somebody’s going to get hurt with that kind of behavior is just insane. I don’t know why anyone would want to do that.”

Cops haven’t said yet what motivated Becker.  She’s charged with ten counts of criminal mischief and 11 counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
