WATCH IT: Texas plant blast caught on tape

WEST, TEXAS (PIX11) — A massive explosion at a Texas fertilizer plant Wednesday, left as many as 15 people dead and over 160 injured. Some witnesses are saying the blast felt like a nuclear bomb in the town of West, Texas.

The explosion which was caught on tape by several witnesses, was felt as far 45 miles away and leveled several homes and business including a middle school and nearby nursing homes.

Authorities are treating the area as a crime scene as they continue to assess the situation in the small town.

    Hey, I live in Texas so it was kinda sad when I found out about the explosion. There was not a bomb, it exploded because when the fire got to the fetilizer (Which is extremely flamable) it just blasted. If you live in Texas and listen to 89.5 KVNE, I hope you have heard about the project, " East helps West " which donates money, food, cloths and any other thing that might be needed for those affected by the blast.
