Way of the Cross re-enacted in Holy Land

Devout Christians from the four corners of the globe descended on Jerusalem to retrace Jesus’ path to Calvary to be crucified.

The faithful paused to meditate on Christ’s suffering at each station — where he stopped, stumbled or was whipped.

With the exception of Christmas or Easter, there is no more important day on the Christian calendar than Good Friday.
