Police-involved shooting in Brownsville, Brooklyn

Breaking NewsA police officer shot a man Thursday evening in the Brownsville section of Brooklyn.

The shooting occurred at 6 p.m. at Grafton Street and Livonia Avenue. The officer was possibly working for the narcotics division.

The man who was shot was taken to Brookdale Hospital, and is reported not likely to die.

      What kind of lo-life comment is that..your blaming the area for the situation, that really doesn't make any sense, blame the situation accordingly or find out what happened in its entirety; don't make a fool of yourself on the internet because someone will expose your ignorant comments. Yes the area has a lot to do with what is going on in regards to crime and drugs but if you are an intelligent individual you will understand that these situations are provoked, more often than not police presence in these so called "hot zones" make things much worse, they don't aid the situation at all.

    If the perp was wrong, he should have been arrested!!!!! At NO TIME is it okay to just shoot & kill someone with no regard or justifiable reason!! Life is precious and should be regarded as such………the saddest thing is the police who are supposed to protect us are just as desensitised as the criminals
