A small gesture of kindness by an anonymous veteran has gone viral.

A woman whose boyfriend is serving overseas in the army found a note on her car window, with $40 inside.

The note said, “I noticed the sticker on your car. Take your hero out to dinner when he comes home.”

It was signed, a “United States veteran.”

The woman posted the photo of the letter on Facebook and it quickly racked up more than one million likes.

She now wants to meet the secret donor.

It is truly inspiring that they are not forgotten. Made me well up with tears, that there are people out there that really care about our soldiers.
