Selena Gomez managed to win several hearts while gracefully slamming ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber during an appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman Monday night.
The Hollywood starlet, who was promoting her new film “Spring Breakers,” was asked about her past romance with the Biebs. Letterman took it a step further when he recalled the last time the teen pop star stopped by The Late Show.
“The last time he was here, I said something and he said something … and I made him cry,” Letterman said.
Gomez was quick to respond, “Yea, well that makes two of us.”
The actress’ hilarious quip not only prompted a thunderous applause from the crowd, but put her in Letterman’s good graces for the next 200 years.
Check mate, Bieber.
