Garbage on the subway tracks is part of the underground scenery. The MTA has run vacuum trains to pick up tons of trash. But riders are noticing more litter on the tracks. The MTA says it is looking at purchasing two new ones. The trains it now owns are 16 and 12 years old and often break down.
