In the event of another major power outage like after Superstorm Sandy, Gov. Andrew Cuomo revealed a plan to avoid long lines at gas stations.

He wants one-third of the gas stations to pre-wire for backup generators,

So their pumps will stay operational, even during a power outage.

The federal government would pick up most of the cost.  A decision will be made before April.

Great, another thing that the tax payers will have to pay for. Free generators for the owners of the gas stations. Why not just go back to odd & even days after Sandy, like we did that ended the long lines.

The long lines were a result of panic! Panic over a short supply. Even if the stations had power they had no fuel to pump,no? More smoke & mirrors like his gun grabbing crusade….
