Schools Chancellor is asking parents to please return MetroCards

Schools Chancellor Dennis Walcott has a message for parents – please send back the MetroCards you got during the bus strike.

The city gave out $17 million-worth of cards during the month-long strike.

There is no word on what will happen to people — who decide to keep them.

Wednesday all yellow school buses are expected to be back on the road again.
