Conspiracists suggest Russian meteor was really an attack

More than 30 years after the film “Meteor” terrified movie-goers with the possibility huge space rock crashing into the earth, a real meteor struck Russia and exploded, causing thousands of people to run for their lives.

The Russian meteor occurred almost simultaneously as onlookers in California witnessed a skyline light show. Scientists were focusing on the closest-ever asteroid to hit the earth when the meteor hit Russia, injuring hundreds of people and damaging countless buildings.

Some conspiracy theories suggest whether or not the large rock that hit Russia from outerspace is really a meteor after all.
