NEW YORK (PIX11) – Katie Couric isn’t getting that much sleep these days.

The talk show host recently revealed to her audience that someone is making 911 calls from a phone line inside her Park Avenue home, registered to her late husband.

What’s even worse: these calls have been made every Tuesday for the past several weeks — at 2 a.m. in the morning.

An NYPD patrol car has been sent to her home each time a call was made.

The NYPD is reportedly investigating a series of 911 calls made from the Manhattan home of talk show host Katie Couric.

The New York Daily News reports that Katie now has the NYPD investigating the incidents.

The phone line in question is registered to Jay Monahan, Katie’s late-husband who died in 1998 of colon cancer. A friend told the Daily News, the landline is “simply their home phone” and  that “there’s no special reason” why it was never changed out of his name.

The former Today show host reportedly told her audience about the mysterious calls after she arrived late to a show taping Wednesday.
