It's not about slowing down when they pull in the station…that would just cause more delays than what we already have….I think barriers should be built on the platform, preventing from people falling or being dragged into the tracks.

The technology for constructing barriers between the platform and the tracks has been around for decades…It boils down to money…Most recently, in our area, a platform barrier system was placed in service as part of the JFK Air Train project…

The subway system has been in operation since 1904,why is it suddenly people are too stupid to ride the train?
