Several injured including 2 firefighters in early morning Brooklyn blaze

BROOKLYN (PIX11) – As many as nine people were hurt, including two firefighters at a house fire in Brooklyn.

The fire started around 1 a.m. Friday on Monroe Street in Bedford-Stuyvesant.

It took about 45 minutes for firefighters to get it under control.

No word on what sparked the flames but investigators say it seemed suspicious.
