Jewish oral suction circumcisions need parental OK after herpes cases: judge

A Manhattan federal judge sides has sided with New York City health officials here on a Jewish circumcision ritual. The move means parental consent must be given before the ritual, which involves oral suction, can be performed. The push to tighten up the practice came after 12 cases of Herpes were reported in 2000.
