A panda cub born at the San Diego Zoo last summer will make his public debut Thursday.
(pronounced shaow-lee-woo) was born in July. The media and zoo volunteers were given a special preview of the little gift.
It took the little guy longer than his siblings to emerge, but now that he’s out animal keepers says it looks like he wants to stay.
He’s the sixth panda born at the San Diego Zoo, making it the most successful breeding program outside of China.
