UPDATED STORY HERE.

According to reports, the shooting happened at Taft Union High School in Kern County at about 9 a.m.

The suspected shooter, who was not immediately identified, is in police custody.

The identities of the victims and their conditions were not known.

School officials did not release a statement on the shooting.

    Wasn’t a statement made from the interviewed student about this shooting taking place during the school having a live shooter “drill” ?
