One killed in New Year’s Eve house fire

Investigators are still trying to determine the cause of a New Year’s Eve house fire that killed a 61-year-old man.

The fire broke out at around 10 p.m. Monday on Peacock Lane in North Babylon.

The body of homeowner, Raymond Frank, was found inside the home after fire fighters extinguished the blaze.

Homicide and arson detectives are investigating, according to police.
