A former Yankee is free on bond after being arrested on battery charges on Christmas Day.
There are reports of a domestic dispute between Andruw Jones, a former Yankees center fielder, and his wife in Duluth, Georgia.
Jail records show Jones was taken in around 4 a.m. Tuesday and released on $2,400 bond by 11 a.m.
Jones broke into the majors with the Atlanta Braves in ’96 and played the past two seasons with the Yankees as a reserve.
