
Former New York State Comptroller Alan Hevesi arrives home in Queens after spending 20 months in prison.
Former New York State Comptroller Alan Hevesi is a free man.
He arrived at his home in Queens today after serving 20 months for his involvement in a massive pension fund “pay to play” scandal.
“I’m very, very happy to be home with my family and wish all you guys a very happy holiday season,” he said as he arrived at his home.
The 72-year old was the sole trustee of the fund, now valued at nearly 150 billion dollars.
