Rumor has it that Anna Wintour, Vogue Magazine editor and fashion media mogul, is being seriously considered as the next US Ambassador to Britain.
Wintour was a major fundraiser for the Obama campaign, and hosted a $40,000 a head dinner for the president.
The rumor of Wintour’s appointment has drawn both criticism and support. Some question the idea of offering an ambassador position of major ally to someone who has never held political office, while others feel that the position is more parties than politics.
